No! You can return items to any library within the Mohawk Valley Library System.
Do you accept donations of books?
Yes! Much of our collection is comprised of donated books, movies, and music. We accept any book, music, or movie in good condition with the exception of: Reader's Digest condensed books, text books, multi-volume encyclopedias, and magazines. We also except gently used popular board games for our children's and teens collection.
Who buys the books, and how do I recommend one?
Library materials are selected by the librarian with the assistance of a Book Selection Committee who meet monthly. If you have a title you think the library should own, submit a comment card to the librarian and she/he will evaluate if it would fit into our collection. Patrons may also choose to Adopt-A-Book to add to the library collection.
What do I need to do to present a program at the library?
If you have a program that you think people in the community may be interested in and would like to present it at the library, contact the librarian at 518-673-2314 x107 to propose your program. If you are looking to rent space in the museum to hold a presentation information may be found on the museum's website.
